As time evolves, the evolution of Nigeria's telecommunications sectors is not left out. Years ago, we only had to buy our data bundles and use them all on our own, but owing to the rapid development in this sector, the implementation of data sharing emerged allowing users to share some of their data with friends, family members and even peers. Due to the requirement of this amazing function, the quest to learn how to use it has been on high trends so in this article I will compile how to share information with friends, family and colleagues on MTN, Airtel, Glo and 9Mobile.

With the MTN DataShare, users can also share data with up to five (5) recipients. Sharing of data on the MTN network comes easy and with just few steps. Data Share on MTN is different from Data Gifting or Data Rollover.

MTN Data gifting is a service that allows you to gift data bundles to your friends, family relatives and loved ones. You can also use the MTN Data gifting service to send data bundle to your other Smart phones, modems and tablets. With this service, you will pay for the Data bundle on their behalf.
Then, Data Rollover enables you to rollover your unused internet data to the next month subscription. All you have to do is ensure that you auto-renew your data subscription before it expires and your unused data is automatically moved to the next month.
Note that data rollover feature is only applicable to monthly plans.
Now let's get back to the main issue The MTN Data Share feature is charge less and accessible to those on the MTNTopUP, Pay As You Go and MTNChoice migrants. The subscribers of MTN Skye are not accessible to the MTN DataShare.
